AN EXCEPTIONAL WINE ESTATE
The Domaine du Pech de L'Escale, a wine-growing property located near Lézignan-Corbières in the Aude for more than a century, is spread over 20 hectares of south-east facing hills in the Boutenac terroir.
Renowned for its clayey-limestone soil of rolled pebbles, favouring a homogeneous water supply over time allowing a finesse of aromas and freshness of the wines.
In the middle of the surrounding garrigue, the song of the cicadas, the scents of the earth, thyme, rockrose, honeysuckle and conifers, Michel Romieu and his team have managed to get the best out of the terroir to produce exceptional wines.
